Mutant Monster
Mutant Monster is an all-girls Japanese punk band! Formed in 2008 by sisters BE and MEANA during their high school tears, later to be joined by drummer CHAD in 2012, MUTANT MONSTER found inspiration from the punk rock sounds of the 60s and 70s with bands like The Clash, Sex Pistols, and The Ramones influencing the band’s creation. In the past few years they have played sold out shows and festivals in France, England, Ireland, Netherlands Japan and Canada. They have released 7 albums, most recently released signed by JPU records. This will be their Hooley’s debut!

The Red Stripes
The Red Stripes are Hong Kong’s premier Ska/Mod band and have been playing to packed audiences all over Asia. Their brand of party Ska with flavours of the 2 Tone era features a full 11- piece band and hail originally from the UK, Canada and Australia. Over the past three years they have played festivals and shows around Asia including ‘Modswing’ Singapore, Semarang Ska Festival (with Mr. Symarip), Taiwan Festival of Ska and 2 Tone, Taipei, ‘Jam the UK’, Tokyo and the massive Kuala Lumpur Ska Festival. In August 2017 they played as the backing band for Original Rudeboy of The Specials Neville Staple at the Hong Kong International Reggae Ska Festival. The Red Stripes put on high energy shows that are not to be missed!

Llamando A Julia (Calling Julia)
Llamando a Julia are a high-energy punk band from Alicante, Spain. In the mould of Green Day and the Clash, expect a powerful, hyper set of tunes you can jump around to! The trio will be performing songs from their album “It is Not What It Looks Like” (Fantastika Records.)

Caravane
The four guys behind Carane deliver folk-tinted franco blues-rock which will quickly find its place next to bands such as The White Stripes, Black Keys and The Gaslight Anthem. They’ve had an impressive first few years as a band! Their first album Chien Noir (2014) earned them an ADISQ nomination in Quebec, Canada for "Rock Album of the Year" and a Sirius XM Indie Music Award for "Emerging Artist Of The Year (French)". Since then, they have been touring the world to packed shows. Hooley’s is proud to welcome them back for the second time as part of their 2018 world tour.
